Kana’s professional background began in the restaurant business, having grown up working in the restaurants her father owned and ran. Her early experiences in business management, making personnel decisions, and preparing her father’s books continue to serve her current work as a corporate tax specialist with David Taylor CPA.

Licensed Tax Preparer
Beth was on her way to a master’s degree in psychology, focusing her work with couples, when she saw a relationship between marital problems and financial difficulties. That insight led her to accounting, a field in which she’s worked since 1994. After previously working with the U.S. Treasury, she’s been with David Taylor CPA since 2005.

Licensed Tax Preparer
Stephanie has been with David Taylor CPA since 2009, working on both the administrative and tax preparation side of the business. Her undergraduate studies – she holds associate’s degrees in both management and accounting – helped prepare her for her current role as a licensed tax preparer.
“My job is really about bringing peace of mind to people. Tax code can be confusing, and can cause a lot of stress for people trying to file their own returns. The rules aren’t always clear. I enjoy being there for people, and being part of a firm that people come to rely on year after year.”

Staff Accountant
After 10 years in banking, Rhiannon shifted her career focus to accounting, a field in which she enjoys more genuine interactions with clients. Currently serving as the Staff Accountant for David Taylor CPA, she completed her bachelor’s degree in accounting over the summer, and now intends to sit for the CPA exam.

Administrative Assistant
Lina started with David Taylor, CPA in 2010 as a student intern with Portland Community College and is now working as the administrative assistant for the office. She is currently enrolled in classes working on her bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in art and comes to us with over eight years of retail customer service.
